Southern California has again been shaken by a violent earthquake. According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) and the US Geological Survey (USGS), the quake had a magnitude of 7.1.
The epicenter was located 17 kilometers northeast of the town of Ridgecrest. It was the same region where the earth shaken two days earlier.
The quake occurred at a low depth of 900 meters. First, the strength was given as 6.9.
